unmasking reality: a journey toward inner freedom.
In our modern world, the concept of reality is often one crafted and perpetuated by the system. Our sense of identity and purpose is, more often than not, deeply intertwined with external achievements and validations. We produce, we create, we work tirelessly within this structure, and we earn. But what is the cost? Our reliance on earning from the system can become a self-imposed trap, reinforcing our dependence. This is not to argue that contributing within the system is inherently negative, but rather to prompt reflection on how long we intend to play by its rules and at what cost.
We might start by examining the very nature of our aspirations.
Is the business or project we pursue genuinely a path to freedom, or is it yet another means of survival, tethered to the system?
Are we driven by profit, or are we searching for something more enduring?
Living in coexistence with the system may be a worthwhile objective; however, questioning its foundations can destabilize the harmony it upholds. A system confronted by doubt often perceives it as a threat, responding with resistance, and ostracizing those who deviate from its norms. I stressed the importance of true freedom in a previous piece. This freedom, derived from a deep alignment with one’s soul, enables a life guided by intrinsic values rather than external controls.
Yet, what is our purpose?
Is it to pursue the "greater good" as the system defines it?
Or do we seek to act on a more profound calling, one that arises from within, aligned with a purpose that transcends conventional boundaries and perhaps even benefits the planet as a whole?
When we begin to question everything around us, the reality painted by societal narratives starts to unravel. The system thrives on fear, with ego-driven anxieties guiding much of our behavior. These fears, reinforced by shared experiences and societal norms, often make us feel secure simply because they are familiar. But this security comes at a cost.
What are the fears driving us to stay within this framework?
The fear of financial insecurity: not being able to pay rent or mortgages.
The fear of scarcity: losing access to necessities.
The fear of insignificance: not achieving what society deems “success.”
The fear of exclusion: being cast out of the social status quo.
However, there is a greater truth that transcends these constructed fears: the truth of our inner selves. It is in listening to our hearts that we find genuine freedom. This does not imply disregarding the data we receive - data grounded in facts, patterns, history. Rather, we are called to balance intuition and emotion with rational understanding. Through this lens, we begin to see that fear is but an illusion, an artifice of the system designed to keep us aligned with its demands. While billions share in these fears, providing comfort through collective experience, this connection also binds us to a cycle of low vibration.
So how do we transcend this state of being?
The journey to our inner selves, our true freedom requires a reunion with our core purpose, beyond the external world. Self-discovery demands honest engagement with our egos, dismantling the behaviors and thought patterns that no longer serve us. In doing so, we confront uncomfortable truths about ourselves and the actions we have taken within this framework. This process is both liberating and challenging, as we unlearn old patterns and begin a path of genuine healing.
One day, perhaps, we will awaken from the system's conditioning, seeing that our experiences within it were part of a greater play rather than a struggle for survival. In this awakening, we raise our consciousness, moving beyond survival to a life of purpose, joy, and elevated awareness.
